Personal and sporting challenges for the young talents of the “School of Champions” on January 29th

Episodes three and four of the new ORF series from 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1 and 24 hours in advance on ORF ON and in the TVthek app

Vienna (OTS) Up to 530,000 spectators accompanied the young athletes as they moved into the “School of Champions” last Monday, January 22, 2024. After being accepted into the coveted ski academy, the young talents will be on the ORF 1 series on Monday, January 29th, 2024, at 8:15 p.m. and on Sunday, January 28th, from 8:15 p.m. (episode 3). or 9:05 p.m. (episode 4) on ORF ON and in the TVthek app, packed with drama and action – from the search for one’s own identity, to a death with an unclear background and arguments within the family to a promotional campaign unimaginable effects – all of this, of course, in addition to the hard everyday training, emerging feelings and the normal challenges of growing up. In addition to Emilia Warenski, Imre Lichtenberger, Luna Mwezi, Mikka Forcher and Moritz Uhl as skiing hopefuls, Jakob Seeböck, Josephine Ehlert, Gregor Seberg, Simon Hatzl, Thomas Mraz, Ferdinand Hofer, Judith Altenberger, Sonja Romei, Ferdinand Seebacher and Anna are among others See Thunhart. Dominik Hartl and Johanna Moder are responsible for directing based on scripts by Samuel Schultschik. There is also excitement on the ORF 1 series Monday – “Quickly Investigated” at 10:05 p.m. in a Dacapo about “Traian Voronin” and three murder cases that are separated in time and could have more to do with each other than initially assumed.

Episode 3 (Monday, January 29th, 8:15 p.m., ORF 1 and from Sunday, January 28th, 8:15 p.m., ORF ON and TVthek app)

Nikki (Imre Lichtenberger) is a promising ski talent, but what he lacks is the discipline to get to the top. He got into the academy easily, and not just because his father is the headmaster. Skiing is in Nikki’s blood, but what he’s really looking for is his place in life. He wants to rebel against his father, but also wants to reconcile with him after he moves to Switzerland with his mother after his parents’ divorce. At school he learns about the deceased student Paul (Nikolaus Lessky), a boy whom Nikki’s father allegedly drove to suicide. Between the first attempts to approach Nawal (Luna Mwezi) and Dani (Emilia Warenski), Nikki has to avoid the hostility in the village and get to the bottom of it.

Episode 4 (Monday, January 29th, 9:05 p.m., ORF 1 and from Sunday, January 28th, 9:05 p.m., ORF ON and TVthek app)

Luca (Mikka Forcher) has spent his entire life in the mountains of Tyrol and grew up with his mother, who struggles to survive financially as a tenant of a ski hut. With his idiosyncratic driving style, he can master every slope and every mountain at record speed. As an absolutely exceptional talent, he makes it to school, even though he obviously has social deficits. He wants to ski professionally in order to provide his mother and himself with a secure existence, but with increasing social obligations he becomes a ticking time bomb. In an attempt to market the new students, Luca is sent on a promo tour with heli-skiing with Dani. Luca once again goes his own way and puts his life in danger.
