“The catastrophic conditions at the Vienna schools are the result of the fatal welcome policy of the Ludwig-Spö,” said FPÖ-Vienna education spokesman Klubobmann Maximilian Krauss in the face of current reports on the dramatic shortage of teachers at Vienna’s mandatory schools. “More and more children who hardly or no German speak end up in our classrooms. This makes quality lessons almost impossible and inevitably leads to chaos and excessive demands.”
“For the teachers, the working conditions in Vienna become more unbearable from year to year. Many are therefore looking for space and switch to the surrounding area, where they find better framework conditions,” says Krauss. “At the same time, violence at the Viennese schools continues to increase. Aggression, disrespect and conflicts have long been sad everyday life. The victims are the committed educators and the students who want to learn.”
Krauss also criticizes the pink education councilor Emmerling and the failure of the SPÖ education director.
“Instead of ideological air bubbles and false tolerance, immediate acts such as German before school, strict consequences in violence and also the deportation of criminal foreign students are needed.”
