Top culture at affordable prices – with a large contingent of stars of the domestic cultural scene, AK Lower Austria remains loyal to this goal even in the sixth edition of the Reichenau cultural summer. This year’s selection of programs should have made the taste of the audience, because the 14 events are already very well booked. Therefore, it now has to be quick for guests interested in culture and secure the last tickets!
The Reichenauer Kultur summer goes into the next round and will again bring numerous highlights of music, cabaret and literature to the Parkhotel Hirschwang on Reichenau on the Rax from 1 to 24 August 2025. The round will open on August 1, 2025 with “Flo & Wisch”.
Then, for example, Gerald Fleischhacker devotes himself to the absurdities of modern everyday life in his cabaret. The exceptional actor and former “everyone” Cornelius Obonya, together with Florian Scheuba, presents the new program “The Insurable”.
An initial performance is entitled “For me it should rain red roses”. Béla Korény and Lilian Klebow for the first time stage a tribute to one of the most dazzling artists of the 20th century. Also there is crowd favorite Heinz Marecek. Just in time for his 80th birthday there is his new program “Curtain up!”.

That is why we offer our cultural-interested guests a varied program of literature, music and humor again this year,” says AK Lower Austria President and ÖGB Lower Austria Chairman Markus Wieser. Originally created to compensate for the failure of the Reichenau festival in Corona summer 2020, the Reichenau cultural summer has long since become an independent and recognized addition and revitalization of the region’s cultural offerings.
