The Yutong IC12E was specially developed and built for intercity operation on the European market. It offers the advantages of a wide range, strong performance, great capacity and excellent quality.
On June 19, the IC12E took part in a challenge that extended over four European countries: starting in Hamburg (Germany), the path leads via Copenhagen (Denmark) and Gothenburg (Sweden) and finally reached Oslo (Norway). This trip includes various road conditions, including urban streets, highways, bridges, coastal lines and ramps, which comes into its own in different environments. The test data show that the vehicle has demonstrated its extraordinary guide in the new energy technology over a distance of 1272 km with an average energy consumption of only 0.7 kWh/km (the vehicle was not fully loaded).
During the test, the IC12E successfully completed a 510 km route between Germany and Denmark, whereby the SOC dropped from 99 % to 31 % and a residual range of 170 km was displayed. When testing the loading efficiency, the SOC rose from 13 % to 99 % in just 1 hour and 40 minutes when charging with a single pistol. On the continuous slope routes in Norway, the IC12E showed a strong performance with a climbing capacity of 20 %.
