Strategic partnership enables AI-based automation to increase operational excellence, to rationalize donor engagement and to optimize a nationwide school feeding program for millions of children
In a groundbreaking cooperation, Automation Anywhere, the leading provider of Agentic Process Automation (APA), and the Akshaya Patra Foundation, one of the leading Indian organizations with social influence and an implementation partner of the “PM Poshan” show program of the government, the charity work in India. By using AI-based automation, the processes for donor acquisition could be rationalized by up to 70 %, which reduced the processing time from over 20 hours to just 40 minutes. This accelerates the Mission of Akshaya Patra to provide 5 million children with lunch meals every school day.
Akshaya Patra currently reaches over 2.35 million children in 25,000 state and state -funded schools and has already been able to draw tangible advantages from the partnership. With the support of Automation Anywhere, the foundation is to redesign important operational areas such as donor management, route optimization and work processes in the supply chain in order to achieve more efficiency, transparency and scalability. These improvements enable the organization teams to focus on strategic public relations and building relationships.
Vinod Sudhakar, It-Leiter Bei The Akshaya Patra Foundationcomments on the partnership with the words: “At Akshaya Patra, we consider technology as a pioneer for targeted changes. Our cooperation with Automation Anywhere helps us to use the potential of the AI in order not only to optimize our systems, but also to improve our service for children throughout India. With more intelligent instruments, we achieve a noticeable effect on a large scale faster, more efficiently and sustainably.”
“With Automation Anywhere, we believe that technology can help to strengthen social influence,” says Neeti Mehta Shuckla, co -founder and head of social responsibility . “This cooperation is proof that AI-based automation can make sensible changes-so that every rupie is more worth more, every meal arrives faster and every child can be fed better. It is about scaling sympathy with precision and building a stronger, healthier India. We feel privileged and obliged to work with a mission-oriented organization.”
After remarkable results were achieved in the first phase, the partnership is intended to move to AI-controlled procurement, which enables a direct connection between farmers and local garbage and the introduction of AI-controlled, needs-based production mechanisms to minimize food waste. Further improvements in delivery logistics and resource planning are likely to increase operational resilience if the foundation expands its reach.
Akshaya Patra will also use real-time data and AI-based automation to improve the logistics performance of its fleet from more than 2,200 delivery vehicles that are on more than 1500 daily routes.
This partnership is an expression of a common commitment: to use the power of the automation controlled by Agentic AI and data -controlled innovation in order to create a future without hunger and education for children across the country.
