24.06.2025-New opening Morawa Flagship-Store Mariahilferstraße

With 1,300 square meters, the new Morawa branch will be one of the largest and most modern bookstores in Austria. On three floors, reading enthusiasts can expect a versatile literary world of experience, in which there will be around 50,000 books, iconic vinyl and thousands of gift ideas. “Books on Stage” brings readings, book presentations or literary events all year round. On the 1st floor is the “Leselust Lounge” with a view of Mariahilfer Straße and French desserts of Patisserie shooting star Magdalena Weilinger.

In the Opening week from June 24th. there is one of the largest book parties in Austria! A program full of reading fright is waiting. Numerous authors are guests with readings and signs. Cabaret artist Michael Niavarani starts with a live podcast on the opening day. From 25.6. Reading or signing crime-bestselling author Franz Preitler, First Lady Doris Schmidauer and political scientist Nina Horaczek, the popular author of youth novels Colin Hadler, cookbook author Katharina Seiser, meteorologist Markus Wadsak, the top chef Paul Ivic and Bettina Kleinszig. All program items are free. A book rally with signed beech copies has already been announced via all social media channels. Anyone who finds one can keep it.
