NEOS Vienna choose Selma Arapović to the club chairman

The NEOS town hall club has made important decisions today in its constituent session and has positioned itself for the next few years.

Selma Arapović was once again unanimously elected club chairwoman. Her deputies: Inside are Markus Ornig and Stefan Gara. Both bring in -depth political expertise and experience to the state parliament as former municipal councils and MPs.

Arapović is an architect and has been a councilor and MP for the Vienna Landtag since 2020. As a spokeswoman for living, urban renewal and urban development, she brings her both deep professional expertise and many years of political experience. She is a member of the NEOS Vienna Landes Team, district spokeswoman for the Neos in Brigittenau since 2023 and club chairwoman in the town hall club since March this year. In the Vienna election campaign, she led the liberals together with Bettina Emmerling to a liberal record result of 10 % and thus again to the city government.

Philipp Blass was ordered as club director, who has been performing the role since February 2025. The Lower Austrian brings comprehensive experience – among other things as a long -standing consultant for urban development, mobility, climate and living.
