AI supports the change of educational and the development of ICT-T

The final and price shifting ceremony of the global final of the Huawei ICT competition 2024–2025 took place successfully in Shenzhen today. At its 9th edition, the event achieved a record -breaking size this year and attracted over 210,000 students and lecturers from more than 2,000 universities and universities from over 100 countries and regions. According to national and regional competitions, 179 teams from 48 countries and regions made it into the global final.

In an intensive competition in the three main areas of practice, innovation and programming, 18 outstanding teams from 9 countries were honored with the highest awards: China, Algeria, Brazil, Philippines, Morocco, Nigeria, Serbia, Tanzania and Singapore.

The winners of the Great Prize of the Innovation Competition were teams from the Bulacan University of Bulacan, the Technical University of Beijing in China, the Faculty of Technical Sciences Čačak at the University of Kragujevac in Serbia and the Faculty of Sciences and Technology Errachidia – Moulay Ismail in Marokko.

In the practice competition – network area, the main prices at Teams of the Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology in China, the Instituto Federal Do Tocantin in Brazil, the Federal University of Technology Minna in Nigeria and a joint team from the DAR ES Salaam Institute of Technology, the University of Dodoma in Tanzania.

In the practice competition – Cloud Track teams at the Philippines, the University of Batna 2 and the Higher National School of Computer Science Algiers in Algeria, the Tianjin University of Technology and Education in China and the Singapore of Social Sciences emerged as winners.

In the practice competition – Informatics area, the main prices of Guilin University of Electronic Technology in China, the Federal University of Technology Minna in Nigeria, the University of Bejaia and the Higher National School of Computer Science SBA in Algeria and the CeBU Institute of Technology – University – went to the Philippines.

The main prize of the programming competition went to a team at the Polytechnic University of Shenzhen in China.

In order to honor outstanding contributions that go beyond technical excellence, special awards were also awarded as part of the competition. The Women in Tech Award was awarded to four pure women from Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Germany and Kenya. The Green Development Award went to a team from Ghana. With the Most Valuable Instructor Award, 18 outstanding teachers from 10 countries-Egypt, China, Algeria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Indonesia, Iraq, Nigeria, Hungary and Turkey-were awarded for their contribution to ICT training.
