Opened on June 5, 2025 the exhibition Burn The Diaries, Read Them Out Loud With a Performance von Ville Laurinkoski. The exhibition includes a program of performance, readings and discursive exchange with a focus on text in contemporary art. Designed as a group exhibition in the process, the works of art installed at the beginning are in dialogue with numerous performative interventions that take place in and around the Kunsthalle Vienna Karlsplatz over a period of five months. The format takes a look at the practice of commenting, editing and writing in art: the text is therefore not only tested as a preliminary note, but as a skeleton of art. The exhibition serves as a leaf on which works of art and performances are noted as coherent notes – they are sampling, citation and testing themselves and each other.
