With “Eurogast cooks” Eurogast Austria is launching a new own brand onto the market that offers high-quality high-convenience products with a typical Austrian taste. The line was developed together with experienced kitchen experts: inside and is aimed at professional kitchen companies in gastronomy, hotel industry and community catering. The aim is to counter the increasing requirements of the industry, especially in times of shortage of skilled workers, with fresh, calculable solutions.
Freshly cooked, produced on order
The new product line comprises more than 400 items- from soups, sauces, main dishes, handmade pasta, side dishes such as risotto, polenta or spaetzle to fruit and vegetable mixtures, salads, dressings, delicatessen, trend food, spreads, antipasti and tasty desserts. It is produced exclusively on order, packaged in gastroconforms. This ensures maximum freshness, receives taste and nutrients and reduces food waste. The next day is delivered in many regions.
Efficiency at the stove: less effort, consistent quality
“Our goal is to be a reliable partner for Austria’s gastronomy in the high-controller segment,” explains Peter Krug, Managing Director of Eurogast Austria. “With ‘Eurogast’ cooks’ we enable consistent quality with reduced personnel costs and at the same time offer full flexibility in the kitchen.” Due to the ready-made products, time-consuming Mise-en-Place work, kitchen teams can concentrate more on day-to-day business. “With ‘Eurogast cooks’ we make food better calculable, reduce the use of goods and ensure more predictability. Especially in times of shortage of skilled workers, this is a real added value,” says Peter Krug.
Strong in logistics and range
Eurogast invested around 1.5 million euros in the development and market launch of the new line. The company is thus expanding its existing range of over 44,000 products with a rapidly growing segment. Orders will be delivered to the next day until 12 noon, depending on the tour plan. “The trend is clearly towards fresh convenience. With our new line we go this path together with our customers: inside,” said Krug.
Roll-out starts
Austria-wide roll-out is gradually via the established sales and logistics network. More than 100 sales consultants: inside is available for personal support. “The taste and the numerous advantages are convincing our customers: Inside. The constant quality on the plate is more in demand than ever in times of scarce resources,” emphasizes Krug.
