The company opened its first international production facility for NEVS in Thailand and set up eight production partnerships abroad, which has a capacity of 580,000 units. In 2024, Changan, with more than 500,000 internationally sold vehicles and sales of over $ 11 billion, was one of the three largest automobile exporters in China. The brand expanded into 20 new countries and is now represented in more than 100 countries worldwide and has 1,150 sales channels. Chang-An, Deepal and Avatr achieved international recognition, with Changan being included in the “Brandz Top 50 Chinese Global Brand” only 14 months after the introduction of the Vast Ocean Plan. “In the wave of antiglobalization, Changan Automobile has demonstrated the strength of intelligent production in China at the age of nine years of export growth,” said Li.

Technological innovation remains the core of Changan’s global strategy, said Executive Vice President Wang Xiaofei. The company has invested more than 114.8 billion Yuan in research and development and built up an international team of 18,000 employees, including 5,000 software and AI specialists. The 2025 plan includes a two -track strategy for fuels and new energies. Vehicles with fossil fuels will target markets in Central and South America, the Middle East and Africa as well as Eurasia, while vehicles with new energies will concentrate on the Asian-Pacific region and Europe. Changan builds a uniform global brand structure through Chang-A, Deepal and Avatr and follows a “1+N” brand strategy-a global IP and several localized campaigns per year. On the product page, 20 new models (10 petrol engines, 10 NEVS) are presented worldwide, including the CS75PLUS, Deepal S05, AVATR 07 and Chang-A-AQ07.
