Interior Minister Karner visits Girls’ Day of the police

On April 24, 2025, the annual girls’ day of the police will take place in the Rossauer barracks in Vienna. At this event, young girls and women have the opportunity to find out more about the police profession and to experience the everyday work of a police officer up close.

Interior Minister Gerhard Karner will take part in the event and welcome the young interests. During training with an exercise pepper spray, the interests can test their accuracy, take part in a radio exercise, test equipment, get an insight into police training with VR glasses, take part in a fitness game and receive a demonstration of the service dog squadron.

When: Thursday, April 24, 2025, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Where: Rossauer barracks, Schlickplatz 6, 1090 Vienna.
