This year, the ICE CAMP on the Kitzsteinhorn invites you to relax your body and mind and recharge with new energy.

Kaprun (OTS) – Since Friday, January 12th, the Kitzsteinhorn in the Zell am See-Kaprun region has once again been inviting visitors to the ICE CAMP presented by Audi. On the sunny plateau at 2,600 meters, three igloos, each seven meters high and 12 meters in diameter, decorate the high Alpine winter landscape. Inside, ice and snow sculptures, creative light installations, special sounds and an impressively presented Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron form a fantastic work of art that appeals to all the senses. The team around Chris Geissler and Andi Tremschnig has always been responsible for the construction of the ICE CAMP presented by Audi, as they know how to handle ice and snow as building materials.
“Energy” as a leitmotif
The East Tyrol artist and sculptor Max Seibald has always been responsible for the concept and design of the ICE CAMP presented by Audi. With this year’s work he also captures the spirit of the times, conveys important messages and calls for more awareness with partly interactive art elements: “The topic of energy is our constant companion. “This works particularly well in nature and the mountains in particular offer people the opportunity to see things from a different perspective.
Since 2012 “presented by Audi”
Gletscherbahnen Kaprun AG has been implementing the ICE CAMP in a proven partnership with Audi for over a decade. Accordingly, one of the three igloos has been setting an unprecedented stage for a selected Audi model since 2012. This year the showroom features, among other things, loungers with integrated cell phone charging stations. From here you can admire the Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron in a relaxed manner.
Easily accessible
For skiers and snowboarders, the ICE CAMP presented by Audi can be easily reached via the slopes. For winter hikers, the signposted ICE CAMP trail starts at the Alpincenter at 2,450 meters and takes around 30 minutes. We go with a mountain guide every Wednesday from January 17th to April 10th. on a guided snowshoe hike to the ICE CAMP presented by Audi (details & registration: kitzsteinhorn.at). In front of the igloos, the ICE CAMP sun deck with bar, sun loungers and lounge music invites you to relax in front of the breathtaking high mountain backdrop with a view of the summit of the Kitzsteinhorn. From March 2nd to April 13th The popular ICE CAMP Sounds event series takes place here every Saturday under the motto “Sun meets Glacier meets Music” with live DJs.
