“The government strokes a big piece of freedom to young people”

With a clear criticism, the Greens react to the end of the free climatic for young people-decided by SPÖ department management. “The SPÖ commits word fracture to the youngsters,” criticizes Leonore Gautler, climate protection spokeswoman for the Greens. “In the election campaign, the SPÖ promised to maintain the ticket, even an expansion ‘in sight for everyone under the age of 25’. The reasoning of the necessary budget renovation does not bear either. Apparently the government is afraid to touch the big chunks of the budget and instead strokes without a big budget effect in the youth. The 25,000 tickets issued only cost 15 million euros.
