View of the districts – Lido and Liesing

On April 27, 23 district representatives will be elected in Vienna. A total of 1,374,712 people including EU citizens are entitled to vote in their respective residential district. The starting point is worth a look at all 23 districts – both within the belt as well as outside the belt and in the districts “left of the Danube” (Lido) and in Liesing.

“Lido” and Liesing: Location in the area areas

Georg Papai (SPÖ) has been Floridsdorf’s district head since 2014. Since 1945, the SPÖ has continued to top the district in the 21st district. In the second district beyond the Danube – the 22nd district – the SPÖ has been continuously at the top of the district since 1946. Ernst Nevrivy (SPÖ) in the Donaustadt has been district head since 2014. In the 2020 election, the SPÖ was clearly at the top with 45.08 percent. This was followed by ÖVP (19.81 percent), Greens (10.99 percent), FPÖ (9.76 percent), Neos (5.98 percent) and HC (3.86 percent) and beer (2.29 percent). In the district council, their votes are spread over 60 seats.
On April 27, the following parties are available in the Danube city: SPÖ, ÖVP, Greens, Neos, FPÖ, KPÖ (and left), HC, Söz, LMP.

Gerald Bischof (SPÖ) has been district head of the 23rd district since 2012. In Liesing has been in Liesing since 1954 (the district in its current form has only been around since 1954, before that the 23rd district and Schwechat belonged together) the SPÖ at the top. In the 2020 election, the SPÖ was also in 1st place with 40.40 percent, followed by ÖVP (22.85 percent), Greens (12.16 percent), FPÖ (7.99 percent), NEOS (7.28 percent), HC (3.16 percent) and per (2.28 percent) and beer (1.93 percent). In the district council, their votes are spread over 60 seats.
On April 27, the following parties will be available in Liesing: SPÖ, ÖVP, Greens, Neos, FPÖ, HC, Söz, KPÖ (and left), Pro.
