The House of Mercy was again awarded the best employer in the health and social category in the ranking of the “Top employer Austria 2025”. This award in the year of the 150th anniversary of the company is particularly gratifying. “For a century and a half we have set standards in long -term interdisciplinary care and care. The fact that we are also valued as an employer shows that our commitment is received for our employees,” said Institute Director Roland König. The non -profit organization employs around 2,000 employees in Vienna and Lower Austria.

In order to gain and maintain highly qualified specialists, the House of Mercy relies on a continuous improvement in working conditions. “Our employees do great things every day. That is why we create framework conditions that support their work and respond to different needs as best as possible,” says König. Training and further education is very important in the House of Mercy. “The care and care of people with chronic illnesses or complex disabilities requires expertise and empathy. The non -profit house of mercy offers long -term care and care for people who are difficult to care for. In seven care facilities in Vienna and Lower Austria, we look after around 1,300 residents with chronic diseases. Including 14 children and adolescents in the NannoMizil Fridolina. With Habit, the House of Mercy Integration Team, we offer around 480 care places for people with multiple disabilities and high support needs in our 17 shared apartments, Garconnieren associations as well as in temporary living, five daily centers and in mobile accompaniment.
