The Greenpeace environmental protection organization is publishing a new podcast today. In “lowkey ÖKO”, the moderator and student Sophie talks about everything about environmental and climate protection in a relaxed atmosphere with people from Greenpeace. Without the raised index finger, topics such as Greenwashing, the recycling myth or the climate crisis should be discussed. “Lowkey Öko” can be heard on YouTube, Spotify and Apple podcasts from March 18.
„Let’s talk about the environment and so on, but let’s keep it lowkey“According to the new podcast. “Lowkey Öko” offers honest, entertaining conversations, new perspectives and everyday tips for a more sustainable future – without teaching the listeners.
In the first episode, Sophie speaks to the climate and energy expert Jasmin Duregger. She tells of her everyday work at Greenpeace and reveals how one speaks best to people who cannot do so much with the topic of climate protection. Sophie and the climate expert clarify the questions why oat milk is so much more expensive than cow’s milk, where Austria still has some catching up to do with climate protection and what can be expected from the new government’s program. “Lowkey Öko” will be released every two weeks and starts on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and on YouTube as a video podcast from March 18.
