In the course of worldwide AI development, the University of Cambridge organized an innovative symposium, which was organized by Digital China with the title “Global Vision and Enterprise Innovation in the AI Era” (Global Vision and Corporate Novation in the AI Age). Professor of social anthropology in Cambridge, member of the King’s College and member of the British Academy, David Stillwell, lecturer for computer science in Cambridge, and Marcelino Elosua, chairman of the Lid Publishing Group, also took part and researched the latest trends of AI and their redesign Corporate homing.
As a pioneer of digital change in China, Guo Wei gave insights into the democratization and innovation of the AI and presented the practical success of Digital China. He noted that Deepseek has attracted worldwide attention since the beginning of 2025, but is in the promotion of the accessibility of AI – a vision that is in line with the efforts of Digital China. However, Guo emphasized that technical democratization alone is not sufficient to make AI a real productivity factor for society. Companies must find a balance between generalization (maintaining the broad applicability of large voice models) and specialization (adaptation of solutions to industry -specific requirements through computing power, models, corporate knowledge and AI agents) – a concept that he called “specialized general AI”.
Guo described KI for processes as the crucial step for the introduction of AI in companies. “The restructuring of processes is the assembly line revolution of the Ki era,” he explained. In the digital age, the continuous further development and interplay of business models, management methods and technological paradigms are the driving force for the development of new engines. The processes of the company are the point where these changes are. Work processes can create closed circulatory systems of “data decision” that fundamentally redefine competitiveness. The strategic initiatives of Digital China, such as B. the company’s own AI platform Smart Vision, show how AI increases efficiency for processes and supports digital change in real scenarios.
Despite the growing demand for B2B commercialization, the introduction of AI still faces challenges – there are hidden risks in the case of technology jumps. However, this symposium not only beat a bridge for the international AI dialogue, but also showed new ways for the global AI ecosystem.
