Green economy is happy about a stable result
Vienna (OTS) –

The green economy reaches 8.4 percent of voters nationwide in 2025 in the Chamber of Commerce elections. “The nationwide result is mixed. We were able to grow in some federal states, in others we have a small minus. The results in Vienna with 15.7 percent and in Vorarlberg with 23.61 percent of the vote are particularly gratifying.Sabine Jungwirth, Federal Proterer of the Green Economy, summarizes the result of the 2025 Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber of Commerce with urgent need for reform
As a worrying, Jungwirth classifies the low turnout in the WK elections: “The turnout of only 26.5 percent is a resounding slap in the face for the economic policy of old thinking and reflects the lack of trust of the entrepreneurs into the structure of the chamber itself. This should also give the majority faction ÖVP -Wirtschaftsbund to think – it is time to show humility towards voters. The Economic Association has to clear the way for a member survey to compulsory membership and the levies. ”
