The architectural festival Turn On, which takes place annually in the ORF Radioculturhaus Vienna, has been a fixed point for the architectural and urban development discourse for many years. From March 13th to 15th, explosive issues will be focused on the focus of admission.
The general topic of this year’s festival is “The chance in the crisis“. In the current time of upheaval and the climate crisis, Turn On poses the simple yet complex question: What does construction mean today? What are current topics and questions for the profession of architect: inside?
On the first two festival days, the focus is on specific topics of current construction processes with the Turn Partner program rail on partner, and on the third day as part of Turn on the presentation of individual design approaches and postures. The bow spans from residential construction to cultural, educational, administrative and infrastructure projects. Architecture offices and the respective developers present in dialogue form: inside or companies from the economy, mainly from Austria and Germany, exciting insights into current construction processes, from questions of construction to material decisions.
Turn on: A stage for individual design approaches and postures
