International traditional dog sport must continue to be possible
St. Pölten (ots) –

“The regulation issued by Minister Rauch at the last moment before his departure rightly ensures massive criticism. Without integrating relevant experts from the dog sport and the dog breeders, a regulation was created that makes the internationally recognized useful dog sport in Austria impossible, ”says FPÖ state councilor Mag. Susanne Rosenkranz. This regulation – the farewell gift – is an ideological quick shot. The training of rescue and service dogs should not be endangered.

This one -sided measure intervenes deeply into the federal structure of Austria and passes the federal states, according to the State Councilor. “The ÖVP must now ensure that international dog sport can continue to be possible,” Rosenkranz demands and expects a quick correction of this excessive regulation. “It is high time that expertise and a sense of proportion return.”
