The Board of Trustees of the Carinthian Economic Development Fund has therefore appointed Dr. Roland Waldner was unanimously appointed as sole director of the KWF from May 1, 2024 for a period of 5 years. He succeeds Ms. Sandra Venus, who served on the board of the KWF for over 10 years and did not apply again.
In addition to his technical degree from the Montanuniversität Leoben, Waldner successfully completed a doctorate at the Alpe-Adria University of Klagenfurt (AAU) in the field of innovation management.
