The Freedom Youth (FJ) reacted with bewilderness in the face of the reports that the Carinthian governor Martin Gruber (ÖVP) now wants to rely on stricter censorship measures on the Internet as a result of the Islamist attack in Carinthia. Gruber publicly advocated a ban on the “Tikkok” platform. The Federal Chairman of Freedom Youth and FPÖ National Council MP Maximilian Weinzierl gave this “ban on prohibitions” a cancellation: “Use hundreds of thousands of young Austrians Tikok daily, also to exchange ideas about the total failure of the Austrian government and to find out more in real time. I am not aware of a single case in which an Austrian decided to cause Tikok to cause a bloodbath. The problem is not the content, but an Islamist asylum community that has imported the People’s Party. ”
The executive federal chairman of the freedom youth and recent FPÖ National Councilor Sebastian Schwaighofer comes into the same horn: “Instead of finally recognizing that the Freedom Party – above all its federal party chairman Herbert Kickl – was right with its demand for remigration and a stop of the influx, is looking for the Carinthian governor’s deputy now the culprit in distant China. Especially as a young MP, we are very surprised by this completely non -world and completely useless proposal from Carinthia. Anyone who has nothing better in these hours rather than trimming the freedom of expression of young Austrians should simply be silent – given the conditions that are now on Austria’s streets. ”
Both FJ Federal Mobist are certain: “Without the power of social media, the left mainstream would never have been questioned. There is only a real improvement in the security situation in this country with comprehensive remigration and a prohibition law against political Islam. Appropriate content that violates this law could also be deleted from social media. ÖVP-Gruber should rather follow the Freedom Youth on Tikkok instead of taking over political ideas from the GDR, ”said the final recommendation of the FJ tip.
