“Land of the daughters future -oriented” – the first book by First Lady Doris Schmidauer

Doris Schmidauer, known as a committed feminist and wife of the Austrian Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen, enters New Terrain with her first book: “Land of daughters Future -rich” is not a classic autobiography. Rather, Schmidauer uses her personal story as a starting point to do what she can best: bring women together, share inspiring stories and stimulate thought.

Schmidauer tells Klug, sharply observing and sometimes ironically about her way: from her youth in the country to her role in the Hofburg. It gives insights into power structures, feminist alliances and the moments that make women’s politics significant.
