About the IEGUS report on the supply contribution from online pharmacies:
The report was carried out by the independent research institute IEGUS (Institute for European Health and Social Economy) on behalf of the European Association of E-Pharmacies (EAEP). With the help of a scientifically based data and literature analysis, she examines the supply contribution of online pharmacies in Germany.
The analysis is based on anonymized data on drug orders from 2019 to 2023 from selected EAEP member companies. The data shows the development of online orders for prescription and non-prescription medicines over the course of the year. The analysis enables a representation down to the postal code level and in relation to the respective population density of the area.
The anonymized order data that IEGUS evaluated for the report comes from the following companies: apo.com Group, Atida, DocMorris and Redcare Pharmacy, represented by Shop Apotheke and Europa Apotheek.
The complete report including numerous illustrations can be downloaded under Position Papers & Documents here: https://www.redcare-pharmacy.com/de/about-us/public-affairs
