Listless SPÖ demands fairness agreement after gross foul play

“The SPÖ and NEOS are using federal politics as an excuse and, out of pure power calculations, are moving the election forward by six months in a hurry. You are starting the election campaign with a serious foul play against the opposition. Now the SPÖ is calling for a fairness agreement. That can only be perceived as a mockery!” states ÖVP state party chairman, city councilor Karl Mahrer.

“The Vienna People’s Party naturally stands for a fair election campaign. However, I am worried that the SPÖ wants to muzzle the opposition with such an agreement – and that won’t work. We will continue to put our finger in the wound and consistently name the failures of the listless coalition of SPÖ and NEOS. Vienna deserves more,” concluded Mahrer.
