Media criticism – Weidel and Musk on X: Phew!

Two highly narcissistic people talk confusedly about Hitler on the media channel that one of them also owns and everyone else reports about it.

If a right-wing extremist entrepreneur, addicted to profiling, has a public “conversation” with a right-wing extremist politician addicted to profiling on an online platform he owns, which has become particularly noticeable for spreading anti-Semitism and conspiracy ideologies, in which only stupid and fabricated things are said, it is allowed Of course this cannot be ignored. After all, this is a highly important public event, more important than the war in Ukraine and climate change combined. How else could we explain the fact that almost all media outlets are commenting on this “conversation”?

That it is an advertising strategy that has been used by right-wing extremist parties for years to constantly throw dirt or organize some sort of booze, or at least to engage in self-dramatization on a large scale in order to get journalists to do it – like one of those adhesive strips that catch flies to report on the party – this now well-known fact still seems to have not been registered in many media outlets.

Rather, many people “report” on the content of such a “conversation,” which is actually nothing more than deliberately staged advertising for a right-wing extremist party, as if it were a world-shattering event.

Two highly narcissistic people, neither of whom can be considered serious historians, are talking about Hitler on a privately run channel! Of course, this urgently needs to be discussed (The media’s educational mandate and duty to provide information!) are reported by the public broadcaster ARD! In such a way that when you read it, you get the feeling that the ARD journalists who wrote the report (“Tagesschau.de”) were eleven-year-olds with intellectual disabilities who just skimmed through Wikipedia to find out exactly what » National Socialism” is about:

The claim that Hitler was a communist, we learn via ARD, “is false.” Phew! As a reader you breathe a sigh of relief. It’s good that we recorded this as a preliminary fact. At least there still seems to be agreement about this in our stupid world, which pirouettes with new historical revisionists every minute. Hitler was not a communist! It’s good that we have ARD, where would we be without it? However, the ARD “Fact Finder” journalists Carla Reveland and Pascal Siggelkow do not seem to be 100 percent sure whether they can actually leave this news information, which is not yet firmly substantiated, as it is without further proof. So they quickly add a quote from a scholar that they found in an Austrian newspaper: “The history professor Werner Suppanz from the University of Graz answered the question of whether Nazis were socialists clearly to the “Standard”: “Definitely not. ‘« It’s good that there are history professors! Without her, all of our upper rooms would resemble Erika Steinbach’s.

In order to make the news that Hitler was not a communist completely watertight and to confirm it, so to speak, as a super fact that has been verified several times, Reveland and Siggelkow, once again citing the university professor Suppanz, call on the Führer himself as a witness: “Hitler himself had in 1928 declared that his National Socialist German Workers’ Party (NSDAP) was not socialist.”

Only now do we finally have clarity: the Führer himself once announced during his lifetime that he was not one of them! This would probably dispel any remaining doubts. Thank you, “Tagesschau”! You can be relied on.
