AUVA “Back to Life” Award Vienna for Stefan Washüttl

A few days ago it was Stefan Washüttlwho was hit by a car as an eleven-year-old on the way home from school, received a special honor. For his sporting achievements and his exemplary rehabilitation, he was awarded the AUVA “Back to Life” award at a ceremony in Vienna City Hall.

“My greatest respect goes to our current award winner, who dealt with his severe blow of fate in such an impressive way and radiates a very special joy of life,” says Commander Peter EngelbrechtsmüllerChairman of the AUVA regional office for Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland.

“Our current award winner is someone whose development reflects the high quality of AUVA’s extensive and high-quality rehabilitation offering,” adds AUVA State Office Director Reinhard Minixhofer.

Vice President presented the award on behalf of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce KommR Margarete Kriz-Zwittkovits a voucher worth EUR 2,000, and Reinhard Minixhofer also presented a voucher worth EUR 1,000 for a hotel stay in a JUFA hotel, provided by the Construction and Wood Union.

The congratulations from the city of Vienna were brought by a member of the state parliament Commander Kurt Wagner.
