The HENRI Country House Kitzbühel opens its doors

Just in time for the opening of the winter season, the time has come: the traditional former Hotel Klauser shines in new splendor! After closing two years ago, the HENRI Country House Kitzbühel celebrated on December 12th. its reopening at 12:12 p.m. The JP Hospitality Investors Club (HIC), which took over the historic hotel in 2021, combined the hotel’s 150-year history with the new operator’s modern, sustainable concept. Guests can look forward to a unique retreat nestled between the Hahnenkamm and Hornbahn that combines tradition and contemporary comfort.

To celebrate the brilliant start, a small, top-class group toasted the new opening in the heart of the Alpine city at exactly 12.12 p.m. Among the well-wishers from Kitzbühel: Dr. Viktoria Veider-Walser, Managing Director of Kitzbühel Tourism and Stadtpfarrer Michael Struzynski. Lukas Euler-Rolle, CEO von JP Hospitality handed over the symbolic key to Hotel director Susanne Grill as well as on Eckart Buss, managing director of the operating company HENRI Hotels.

Eckart Buss, Managing Director of HENRI Hotels, is pleased: “We are convinced that the stylish casualness of HENRI is an excellent fit for Kitzbühel. When redesigning the rooms of our country house, we were guided by Tyrolean history, the desire for sustainability and, of course, the needs of discerning holiday guests. Whether in winter or summer: you can now have a relaxed holiday here in the middle of a wonderful mountain world.”

“With a well thought-out, sustainable renovation and a fresh concept in alpine design, we are making the HENRI fit for the future. It is an ideal addition to our JP Hospitality Investors Club portfolio, where we are reviving unique hotel properties in good locations in top destinations with a new operator and contemporary design.” so Lukas Euler-Rolle, CEO von JP Hospitality.

A feel-good place in the heart of Kitzbühel

In the heart of the rustic Alpine town of Kitzbühel, located on the picturesque waterfront and just a few steps away from the train station and the Hahnenkamm and Hornbahn cable cars, the HENRI Country House Kitzbühel is celebrating the resurrection of one of the oldest hotels on the site. The former Hotel Klauser became the HENRI Country House Kitzbühel as part of a comprehensive redesign.

Where wealthy artists and free spirits once stayed, HENRI’s boutique hotel now welcomes its first guests and builds on its great past with charm and originality. In the 84 rooms, the lovingly designed salons and lounges, 150 years of Tyrolean hospitality come to life, combined with contemporary casualness à la HENRI. The new HENRI SPA & GYM attracts today’s winter sports enthusiasts and summer visitors with a spacious indoor pool, organic sauna, steam bath, gym and sun terrace. The living area with HENRI kitchen, the “Klausner-Stube”, the “Spiegelsaal” and the “Red Salon” forms the heart of the house and invites you to socialize from breakfast to the end at the bar.

The three historically grown parts of the hotel were redesigned with sensitivity in order to harmoniously combine history and the present. The traditional “Kaiser” house takes guests back to around 1900 and combines the elegance of the Belle Époque with the rustic cosiness of a Tyrolean inn. The “Streif” house, a post-war extension, carries the spirit of the Tyrolean 1950s. Cheerful fabrics and midcentury furniture characterize the ambience here and add a charming retro touch. The youngest part of the building, the “Ache” house, was built in the 2000s and borders the mountain river of the same name.
