On December 7th and 8th, under the motto “Art is a gift”, selected Lower Austrian artists will offer their works of art for sale at the first art market in Bad Fischau-Brunn from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. An interactive light installation and live music, as well as the exhibition by the Forum Bad Fischau and readings in the castle make this market a unique pre-Christmas art experience.
For the first time, the municipality of Bad Fischau-Brunn and the Cultural Network of Lower Austria are organizing one in the afternoons of the second weekend in Advent ArtMarket. At the community’s new main square, works of art from various areas of fine art can be viewed and, above all, purchased. In addition to paintings, watercolors and graphics, object art made of glass, ceramics, wood or textiles is also on display. The artists are present and are happy to provide insights into their artistic work.
Art is a gift!
During Advent, the market offers the opportunity to purchase extraordinary Christmas gifts and to gift your loved ones, friends and colleagues with art in 2024. And if you’re not sure yet, you can make an appointment in the artist’s studio.

Varied supporting program
The local cartoonist Alfred Vorisek presents his calendar for 2025 in the pop-up gallery of the cultural network, which is also available for purchase. A light installation with Leo Bettinelli’s team, including interactive “Liquid Lights”, and live music with “Artett” on the open air stage, round off the program at the art market.
The exhibition “IN.Scape” by Dietmar Halbauer, curated by the Forum Bad Fischau, has also opened in Fischau Castle.
