Stuttgart welcomes the ARBEITSSCHUTZ AKTUELL trade fair – opening with a keynote speech by professional footballer Nils Petersen
From November 5th to 7th, 2024, Stuttgart will be the central meeting point for occupational health and safety in German-speaking countries. Under this year’s motto “Networking in occupational safety: Working safely now and in the future”, visitors can expect groundbreaking trends, innovative technologies and practical concepts, which will be presented in lectures, forums and at trade fair stands.
Ministerial Director Michael Kleiner from the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism will officially open the trade fair. With his keynote speech “Body = Capital”, professional soccer player Nils Petersen will give an inspiring look at holistic well-being in professional sports and show that, in addition to training, mental health and nutrition are crucial for performance.
Practical and motivating: Ralf Moeller about skilled trades and motivation
Another highlight is the panel “Motivation in the Crafts”, where actor Ralf Moeller speaks with craft representatives about how young talent can be inspired and supported in the crafts. As an ambassador for Hans Schäfer Workwear, Moeller will motivate young people to authentically present their passion and expertise. In an exchange with a young SHK master student and Heinrich Schmidt’s Karlsruhe location manager, he shows how craft businesses open up perspectives for young talent and secure the future of the craft.
Diverse program for specialists and managers
With a ticket, visitors gain access to all ARBEITSSCHUTZ AKTUELL program items, including the practice conference, the Expo Stage and the FASI Stage. Particularly noteworthy is the theme day on company health management (BGM), where former ski jumping legend Sven Hannawald talks about mental health. Current issues of corporate health management are discussed together in the World Café.
The German Statutory Accident Insurance (DGUV) presents a broad program that highlights key challenges and practical solutions in occupational safety. A complete list of exhibitors with over 230 companies and the program offer a comprehensive overview of current and future topics in occupational health and safety. The organizers expect around 10,000 trade visitors from industry, trade, services and administration. The catchment area includes southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
