The Institute of the Regions of Europe (IRE) is proud to now 20th anniversary of the international Salzburg Europe Summit to be able to invite. The European Congress with around 700 guests and about 50 speakers from all over Europe, takes place under the motto “EU: No future without reform” from the October 20th to 22nd, 2024 im Salzburg Congress instead of.
As the difficult security policy situation, the sluggish enlargement policy, the declining competitiveness, the major problems of migration and their effects as well as the uncertainties in energy supply show, many necessary reforms are needed in the EU. Discussing these, objectively and constructively discussing how Europe should develop further, is once again the focus of the Salzburg Europe Summit this year.

He will be on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 9:30 talk about his ideas for a successful Europe.

The art exhibition started in 2023 “European regional culture” will be continued this year. In 2024 we present with Ms Iveta Vecenane an artist Latvia. This exhibition opens on Sunday, October 20th around 11:00 im Kongresshaus.
Furthermore takes place on Sunday, October 20th a ceremony in the Salzburg Residence Anniversary “20 years of the Institute of the Regions of Europe (IRE)” instead of.
