New Camunda features for a tailor-made automation solution

The new functions at a glance:
- Camunda RPA (Robotic Process Automation) turns the isolated automation of individual tasks into a comprehensive end-to-end processor orchestration in which RPA is embedded directly into a workflow. Camunda’s composable architecture seamlessly integrates both existing and newly developed bots within its RPA services – all on the same platform.
- Camunda IDP (Intelligent Document Processing) uses AI to classify, extract and process information from documents. This minimizes errors while saving time. Companies can easily integrate IDP into their processes to gain complete visibility into their end-to-end business processes.
SAP integration, Camunda Copilot and new features in 2025
In addition to these new task automation components, Camunda is also introducing new integrations and AI features:
- Camunda SAP Integration simplifies SAP transformations and increases business agility with end-to-end processor orchestration and Camunda’s open, modular architecture that flexibly integrates both SAP and non-SAP systems. Companies can seamlessly orchestrate SAP across people, systems and devices to become more agile, accelerate development and reduce risk during SAP S/4HANA migration.
- Camunda Copilot is an AI-powered function that makes suggestions to help IT and business users work even more productively in a common modeling language and create end-to-end process models even faster and more efficiently.
These new features are just the beginning: Camunda will introduce additional features in the coming months. The roadmap includes iPaaS integration flows, low-code components, and intelligent execution and optimization tools. In the future, these will support companies in orchestrating and automating their processes in a modular manner.
