Kogler/Voglauer: Thanks to voters, Daniel Zadra and Eva Hammerer
Vienna (OTS) –

“My thanks go to all the voters who cast their vote for climate protection and against right-wing agitation today or by postal vote, to all the supporters who ran together for a green Vorarlberg and to the top duo who showed incredible commitment, commitment and competence and showed passion,” says Werner Kogler, federal spokesman for the Greens.

“A minus always hurts, that’s clear. The good news: According to the preliminary final result, black and green are out. People want solution-oriented and forward-looking politics. Now it’s once again a trial by fire for the ÖVP. You decide whether Vorarlberg continues with us Greens on the path of coexistence for strong climate protection, consistent nature conservation and social security. Or whether they will once again hold right-wing extremists responsible. Our hand is outstretched for a Vorarlberg that is characterized by progress, climate protection and social coexistence on an equal footing. And not from right-wing agitation and division,” he adds.

“We see in other federal states: the right-wing inflames problems and is not interested in solutions. It is a directional decision. Will Vorarlberg get a progressive coalition or an exclusionary blue-black coalition, including going backwards in climate protection,” adds Olga Voglauer, General Secretary of the Greens.
