Brilliant start to filming for the new ORF 1 show “Dancing Stars – Das Casting”! More than 800 enthusiastic amateur dancers gathered in Vienna today, Wednesday, August 21, 2024, to take advantage of their chance to become part of the “Dancing Stars” family!

In this five-part ORF casting show, a professional dancer will be sought for the first time in autumn 2024 for the new “Dancing Stars” season in spring 2025. Dance-loving amateurs who would like to shake a leg with the professionals at the casting were called upon to get in touch. More than 800 of them took part in the selection process for “Dancing Stars – The Casting” today. To thunderous applause, with colorful outfits and in a great mood, the “Dancing Stars” fans dance towards their dream – and thus win one of ten tickets to the challenges with the future “Dancing Stars” professionals on the ORF show in the fall to master on the dance floor. For them it’s also about the chance of a unique appearance in the country’s most famous ballroom at “Dancing Stars” 2025.
ORF 1 and ORF ON will show who made it from November 8th.
