Klaus Schörghofer (43) will join the management of the Egger Drinks Group on September 1, 2024. Together with Reinhard Grießler, he will then form a dual leadership position in the management of the traditional Austrian family business. Klaus Schörghofer, a business educator, previously worked at Brau Union Österreich AG for almost two decades – including six years in management and three and a half years as CEO. The management has set itself the goal of optimizing existing structures in the contract filling, private label and brand business areas and, above all, driving forward the company’s international expansion. In addition to the home market of Austria, Egger Drinks currently serves export markets in Europe, Asia, Africa and the USA.
Operating worldwide from Lower Austria

Austrian family business with international potential
Egger Drinks is a family-owned Austrian company; Around 300 million units of drinks are bottled every year in Unterradlberg near St. Pölten. In addition to the production and distribution of Austrian beverage brands, Egger is also active in contract bottling and the production of private labels on the domestic market as well as in export. Regionally anchored brands face major challenges, especially in times of rising prices. The aim of the coming years is to work on the brand foundation of Egger Bier, Radlberger, Granny’s Apfelsaft & Co and to bring these local brands closer to consumers.
