“It is not luck, as communicated in the media, but the success of the great effort of our police,” FCG federal chairwoman Romana Deckenbacher clarifies on the occasion of the current incidents, “I express my recognition and gratitude to my colleagues in the executive branch, who have once again successfully prevented a terrorist attack.”
At a time when our society is confronted with a variety of threats, the immense importance of the tireless work of our police officers is evident. The latest incident underlines once again how important their role is in the safety and protection of citizens. With great courage and professional dedication, they put their lives at risk to maintain public order and protect us from extreme dangers. The success in preventing the terrorist attack is an impressive example of the efficiency and commitment of our security forces.
“Let us work together to ensure that they continue to be able to carry out their tasks under the best possible conditions. Their safety and well-being must be a priority for all of us,” concluded the chairwoman of the Austrian Christian Trade Unionists.
