The European Forum Alpbach will take place in the last two weeks of August this year under the theme “Moment of Truth”. A total of around 4,000 participants are expected, including government representatives from all over Europe (the President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović, the President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, the Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman, the Polish Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar, the German Minister of State for Europe and Climate Anna Lührmann, the Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Jozef Sikela and others), representatives of the Austrian federal government and parties (Vice Chancellor Werner Kogler, the ministers Alexander Schallenberg, Karoline Edtstadler, Magnus Brunner, Alma Zadić, Norbert Totschnig, Leonore Gewessler, Johannes Rauch, Martin Kocher, as well as the party leaders Andreas Babler and Beate Meinl-Reisinger), the Tyrolean governor Anton Mattle, representatives of science (for example the Nobel Prize winners Joseph Stiglitz and Anton Zeilinger as well as Martin Hetzer), representatives of European and international think Tanks, from international and EU institutions, climate experts, numerous CEOs as well as 400 international scholarship holders and many more.

The focus of the Euregio Days is on people from the European region of Tyrol/South Tyrol/Trentino. During these days, outstanding research and innovation will be honored, among other things. Europe in the World Days (24.-27. August)
European decision-makers from politics, business, science and culture meet in Alpbach and discuss in different, innovative formats.
