FPÖ – Hafenecker: Nehammer must be judged by his actions and not by his announcements! | Freedom Parliamentary Club

Green riot group successfully put the brakes on infrastructure expansion for five years

Vienna (OTS) After his “fairy tale appointment” in Lower Austria the previous week, ÖVP Chancellor Nehammer organized a big “fairy tale summit” today on the topic of infrastructure expansion. “The closer the National Council elections get, the more adventurous the ÖVP Chancellor’s promises become. But you have to judge Nehammer by his actions and not by his announcements! After all, all of these road projects that the ÖVP promised to implement today have been fixed for years. It is due to the weakness of the ÖVP that these projects are still on hold today,” said FPÖ transport spokesman NAbg. Christian Hafenecker of course.

For five years, the ÖVP was paraded by the green riot group around the green climate minister Gewessler, Hafenecker recalled: “The victims of this ideological blockade policy are the drivers, but also the residents, when I think of projects like the Marchfeld expressway S8 or the Traisental expressway S34 think. But the Lobau Tunnel also brings about a sensible shift in traffic flows, less traffic jams and thus an improvement in the emissions situation. With all of these arguments, a 37 percent party was unable to prevail against its mini-coalition partner. Karl Nehammer shares responsibility for the standstill in infrastructure expansion in Austria. Now he can promise as much as he wants. His words have no weight.”

Nehammer’s “waffling” regarding the ban on combustion engines in the EU, which was initiated by his party colleague von der Leyen and also decided with the vote of the former ÖVP-EU delegation leader Karas, is also pure eyewash. “The ÖVP has agreed to this destruction of the European automotive industry. In the automotive sector, the ÖVP is no better than the Greens. Voters should keep this in mind in the National Council elections in the fall. Only the FPÖ stands by the drivers and wants to end the punishment of drivers as quickly as possible,” announced FPÖ transport spokesman NAbg. Christian Hafenecker and referred to the successful and trend-setting campaign “Reward drivers instead of punishing” by FPÖ-LH deputy. Udo Landbauer.
