St. Pölten (OTS) – Good music & Sport-Action! The now legendary AK YOUNG and ÖGJ NÖ summer open-air event SPLASH HARD celebrated for the eighth time at Lake Ratzersdorf this year. 26 degrees of chilled summer weather, 24 degrees of water temperature, pure summer feeling – the swimming oasis became an event hotspot and crowd puller for one day. 5,000 visitors celebrated, exercised, grooved and chilled at the party by the lake. Headliner Mathea, support act Eli Preiss, cool trendy sports, live DJs and food trucks ensured a huge turnout and an exciting event program this year.

The mix of fun, sports action, information and good music is convincing. Among the event guests at SPLASH HARD 2024: Olympic ski-crosser professional Tristan Takats, the SAM young athletes Theresa Fuchs, Franziska Paumann, Angelika Dallhammer, Philip Huber, Nadine Hundegger, AK Niederösterreich Dir. Deputy Christian Farthofer, AK Niederösterreich Vice President Angela Fischer, PROGE NÖ regional manager Patrick Slacik and ÖGB NÖ regional manager Linda Keizer.

Event visitors were offered a lot of action. This was also the third time Sports day for nature lovers as part of SPLASH HARD. Sports enthusiasts could Fun sports like parkour and stand-up paddling for free. For anyone who wanted to go high, the climbing tower offered a wonderful view. Zorbing, water shoes and self-defense were also offered as a special highlight this year. Event guests were able to attend various events free of charge Workshops Participate: Yu Taekwondo (self-defense), freerunning, football & cheerleading. And those who wanted to take things a little quieter could use the lake and the sunbathing area as a chill-out area.
A lot of physical effort was shown at the beach volleyball tournament. Winner! The “How I set your mother” team was able to secure first place, the winner’s cup and Media Markt vouchers.

At SPLASH HARD you could also be creative. At the Steppenwolf Youth Center and the Youth and living environment T-shirts were sprayed with desired motifs and football enthusiasts were able to take part in the free workshops join the „Football Invaders“ Get tips & tricks and try out cheerleading moves. For the first time, self-defense – Yu Taekwondo – was also offered at Splash Hard.
We play good music
Die Live-DJs (Travmkind, LUK, Turntella & Symbiotix) provided the right sound at the lake during the day and evening. The R & B Queen with German lyrics That is, PREISS The evening program opened at 8 p.m. Pure summer feeling & good vibes! Entered at 9:15 p.m MATTHEA – the headliner of the evening – left the stage to great applause. With the songs “2x”, “Don’t be sorry” and “Chaos” she got the crowd celebrating. Even after that, the party wasn’t over yet. Party guests were able to continue partying with live DJs until midnight.
A free midnight shuttle took event guests from Ratzersdorfer See to St. Pölten main station at midnight and 12:30 a.m.
