At the suggestion of the Nomination and Compensation Committee, the Supervisory Board decided that Mr. Emmanouil Kontos, who currently serves as Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer, will be appointed as the next Group Chief Executive Officer with effect from July 1, 2024 at the latest. Mr. Emmanouil Kontos was born in Australia in 1971 and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in business administration. As an international executive, he has more than 25 years of experience in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia in the roles of CFO and Managing Director. Companies he has worked for include Colgate Palmolive, General Mills Inc, Coca-Cola Hellenic and Korres Natural Products. He has been working for the group since 2018.
