Vienna (OTS) “Cabaret stars under the stars: Andreas Vitásek & Friends” bring concentrated Burgenland cabaret power to the program at the ORF summer cabaret premiere on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1 and on ORF ON. The humor on the stage in front of Güssing Castle is provided by Andreas Vitásek’s “Friends”, including Christof Spörk, Eva Maria Marold, Thomas Stipsits, Lukas Resetarits and the live band “Die Doppeldecker”. There will be even more laughter afterward when we see “Fakt oder Fake” at 9:35 p.m. with Manuel Rubey, Verena Scheitz and Michael Buchinger as well as “What’s new? – Classics” at 10:45 p.m. with the funniest questions and guesses from the past few years.

Concentrated Burgenland cabaret power conquers Güssing Castle in the ORF summer cabaret. Under the direction of Andreas Vitásek, who lives in Burgenland, Thomas Stipsits, Eva Maria Marold, Lukas Resetarits and Christof Spörk inspire their audience in the open air with wit, charm and razor-sharp observations. And at the crowning conclusion of the evening, another cabaret star unexpectedly comes onto the stage: Viktor Gernot, together with Thomas Stipsits, puts on a musical performance that is worth seeing. The cabaret event is accompanied by the live band “Die Doppeldecker”.

“Fact or Fake” at 9:35 p.m

Learning and laughter at a high level guaranteed: Can you blow out a candle with a cell phone app? Is it possible to solve a Rubik’s Cube in one second? And how do actor and cabaret artist Manuel Rubey, presenter and cabaret artist Verena Scheitz and comedian and influencer Michael Buchinger react to these and other incredible things that Clemens Maria Schreiner presents to them in this episode of “Fact or Fake”?

“What’s New – Classics” at 10:45 p.m

From a “fear troll” to mysterious singing visitors to a Zurich pharmacy – a reunion with the funniest questions and answers from the popular guess comedy with Oliver Baier can be found in “What’s new? – Classics”. Looking back at the highlights of the past few years, we can see, among others, Andreas Vitásek, Günther Lainer, Eva Maria Marold, Ulrike Beimpold, Florian Scheuba and Viktor Gernot.
