Apparently the federal SPÖ doesn’t know what the Vienna state SPÖ is doing
Vienna (OTS) – “The SPÖ presents a disgraceful picture. As the SPÖ security spokesman for the city of Vienna confirms, Interior Minister Gerhard Karner is taking the security problems in Vienna seriously. The police presence was also praised by the Vienna SPÖ. As a thank you, the Interior Minister was invited to an ice cream by the SPÖ security spokesman. The fact that the federal SPÖ in particular criticizes the ‘photographing with ice cream at Tichy’ in a broadcast is absurd and more than embarrassing – and it was the SPÖ club in Vienna from which the photos were taken and probably the SPÖ security spokesman was the focus. This shows that there appears to be no coordination between the federal SPÖ and the Vienna SPÖ. The left hand doesn’t know what the leftmost hand is doing. This embarrassing image of the SPÖ illustrates the deep divisions within the Social Democrats and shows once again that Andreas Babler does not have his party under control,” says the General Secretary of the People’s Party, Christian Stocker.
