OIS zam: Forum – LBG promotes collaboration between science and society

Salzburg (OTS) The forum will take place from September 13th to 14th at the Mozarteum in Salzburg under the motto “Creating knowledge together”. Project presentations can be submitted until June 15th.

The OIS zam: Forum, launched by the Open Innovation in Science Center (OIS) of the Ludwig Boltzmann Society (LBG), will enter its third round in 2024. The aim of the interactive event is to make the collaboration between science and society visible and to promote active exchange. Anyone interested can submit their projects until June 15th.

“We want to promote innovation processes in science and intensify collaboration between science and society. The OIS zam: Forum offers an excellent platform to present interdisciplinary projects and to jointly develop solutions to current challenges. We are looking forward to exciting project submissions and a lively exchange in September,” says Georg Russegger, head of the LBG OIS Center.

OIS zam: Forum 2024 – Submissions possible until June 15th

Since 2016, the LBG OIS Center has supported projects and initiatives that work and research together with citizens, patients and other interest groups in the various phases of the research process. Through knowledge transfer, open innovation is also used as a new form of participation in future innovation and development processes.

The OIS zam: Forum wants to further promote and set an example for these collaborations in Austria under the motto “Creating knowledge together”. Scientists, researchers, relatives, patients and other interested parties are invited to submit their project presentations by 15. June here to submit. Creating knowledge together

From September 13th to 14th, the selected innovative projects will be presented at the two-day event in the Mozarteum in Salzburg, where scientists, citizens, patients and other actors from society and practice will successfully work together and conduct research. The focus is not only on promoting cooperation between science and society, but also on actively shaping this cooperation. The forum offers space for exchange and networking and encourages the development of new ideas for future research projects. In addition, thematic workshops are offered that deal with various aspects and practical application examples relating to the topic of participation in science.

The forum is accessible free of charge with registration until September 2, 2024.
