Vienna (OTS) – In his role as Vice President, Carl von Croy has been dealing with all of the association’s forestry issues since 2018. In addition to managing his forestry business on the Koralpe, the long-time chairman of Land&Forst Betriebs Steiermark dedicates himself to the further development of rural areas in many functions and with a lot of personal commitment. Since 2023, Ernst Harrach has been acting as Vice President for the agricultural agendas of Land & Forest Companies Austria. He runs a farm with his family in Bruck an der Leitha in Lower Austria. Through his work on his own farm, Ernst Harrach knows first-hand the current issues in agriculture and brings this expertise to the association in a variety of ways.

The Land & Forest Companies Austria is the voluntary association of Austrian land managers with the aim of maintaining Austria’s forests and fields as a business basis and added social value and to create awareness of the concerns of private agricultural and forestry businesses and their activities. The member companies of Land & Forest Companies Austria together manage more than a quarter of the Austrian forest and produce one in five tons of Austrian grain.
