Exactly a month ago, the Junge People’s Party (JVP) started the biggest participation process in its history with the “Mission 100”. Today the JVP is taking a first positive balance: Supporters have entered 84 percent of all areas of Austria, over 520 supporters want to be active, over 30 tour stops have already taken place across the country.
“The Mission100 picks up speed and proves that young people join the greatest participation process in our history,” said Federal Meadwoman Claudia Plakolm.
“Obviously, there is no lack of enthusiasm for politics, at most to get involved. We change that,” said the deputy general secretary of the JVP and campaign coordinator Toni Grünsteidl.
On the occasion of its 80th birthday, the JVP wants to motivate young people to work out 100 milestones with the “Mission 100”, which will then be reached by the JVP’s 100th birthday. The young people’s party has not only set itself the goal of mobilizing people, but also making young concerns visible. Whether a member of the JVP or not – everyone can get involved.
