As part of the “Day of the Federal Police”, 83 police officers, including 37 women, were retired on September 5, 2025 at the Friedensburg in Stadtschlininging and have since ensured additional security in Burgenland. The guests of honor included State Police Director Martin Huber Interior Minister Gerhard Karner and the President of the Landtag Astrid Eisenkopf.
