65. Vienna municipal council (5)
Vienna (OTS) –

GR Stefan Berger (FPÖ) criticized the ÖVP to attack the NEOS, but to coalize them at the federal level. Berger criticized GR Juraczka (ÖVP) for his statement that the ÖVP stood for a “center-right policy”. In Berger’s eyes, in view of the five -year government with the Greens in the federal government, this was a “brain -fitting” and referred to the gender policy implemented by the government, among other things, according to Berger. According to Berger, the coalition of progress announced five years ago was “nothing to see”. Instead, he called the city government a “step back coalition”. The “giant punch donut” by SPÖ and NEOS “is very difficult for us all in the stomach”, says Berger. There are many more debts, much more focal point schools, much more demonstrations from educators and therefore it is “incomprehensible” for Berger that the outgoing city councilor for education (Neos) does not work until the last day. Vienna, says Berger, was in a “gruesome downward spiral”. It “burns especially when migration at all corners and corner,” says Berger. Knife attacks, firearms, corpses that are stored in the bright day – Berger was concerned. There are many people who do not come from Austria who would do a lot for Vienna, says Berger. However, the city government from “ideological blame” “lured” far too many people with minimum security to Vienna and transformed it into an “El Dorado” for illegal migration, says Berger. Berger did not accept the excuse that Corona made the situation difficult. The NEOs themselves were responsible for the fact that the schools had been closed during Corona – a “cardinal error” for Berger. Berger was not very optimistic about the future term of office of the Minister of Education (NEOS). The announcement of a mandatory second kindergarten year replied Berger that a very high percentage of children was already in kindergarten for two years. However, according to Berger, it is not just more a quantity, but more quality. Parents, according to Berger, should “not be afraid to send their children to a compulsory school”. According to Berger, those who can afford it, says Berger, sends their child to a private school and, according to Berger, should give everyone involved.

The application for no increase in the ÖVP pension contributions was rejected. The FPÖ’s application for the return of illegal migrants was rejected. The FPÖ’s application to recognize biological reality that there is only two genders was rejected. The FPÖ’s application against special funding for LGBTQ projects was rejected. The FPÖ’s application to stop the family reunification was rejected. The FPÖ’s application for the migration pact was rejected. The FPÖ’s application for asylum stop was rejected.

The 64th meeting of the Vienna municipal council ended at 1:07 p.m.
