What we know about teaching professions is often not true. But what is really true is that these are all jobs with a future. Everything begins at PH Vienna.
Vienna (OTS) – They wanted to know what you could become if you studied at a university of education. And what perspectives there are in the many educational professions. And what is really there, the prejudices, and what reality actually looks like. For four days, colleagues from all institutes at the Vienna University of Education answered the many interested questions from visitors to this year’s BeSt, the largest trade fair for work and study in Vienna. Rector Barbara Herzog-Punzenberger summarizes what educators of tomorrow actually need today: “A confident approach to diversity, being able to recognize multilingualism as a treasure, and having a deep understanding of the connections – these are the foundations of all educational professions.”
And Vice Rector Elisabeth Sieberer emphasizes in her plea: “The profession is unthinkable without these four key skills for prospective teachers: communication, cooperation, creativity and critical thinking.”
The Vienna University of Education is ideally geared towards this with its programmatic focus on Urban Diversity Education. “As we all know, the future begins today. At the PH Vienna on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Open House and at the latest when you submit your application documents.”
