The same celebration in the Leopoldquartier Living has the completion of 253 high-quality apartments in wood-hybrid construction in the green heart of Vienna.
With yesterday’s same celebration of components C and D, the Leopoldquartier, one of the most important urban development projects in Vienna, reaches the next important milestone. The shell construction work for the two components is therefore successfully completed and thus form the basis for the next step towards completion.
The Leopoldquartier is being built in the heart of Vienna’s first city district in wood-hybrid construction. As a modern, sustainable and livable quarters, it combines living, working and – thanks to the supermarket and kindergarten – urban quality of life in a unique way. With a clear focus on ecological responsibility, the project also sets new standards in terms of sustainable urban development.
“Buy an apartment in a wooden hybrid house can be bought like eggs from free-range chickens. It means: living without a guilty conscience,” says Thomas G. Winkler, CEO UBM Development AG.
The completion of component C is planned for November 2025 and component D for March 2026. After the successful implementation of the overall project, the Leopoldquartier will make an important contribution to urban development on the Danube Canal and set new standards for climate -friendly building.
